1. Make sure that your Pencil sharpener is plugged in. 

Here is a tip Lily likes to keep the lights plugged in.

2.If the back of the Pencil Sharpener is hot stop sharpener.  

3.Keep your area clean and clean out the Sharpener at least 1 time a week if you sharpen more than a few times clean it out more.

4. Always check the lead be for you put in Sharpen cup
